WHAT CAN I EXPERIENCE AND BUY
At Torvelørdage in Kolding, you can experience and shop locally produced food, design, 2ndHand and get inspiration to shop and live more sustainably through activism, which is a central part of the market. Supply and scope will change depending on rules, registrations and season. But always with especially the green and the fresh local foods in the centre – every Saturday. However, we would like the market to be as complete and embracing as possible within the 4 themes. Only original goods manufactured or processed in Denmark can be considered within these. And not merchandise in general that can be bought in regular stores.
THE MARKET IS CREATED BY LOCAL FIRE SOULS
And made possible by local producers who come to the market. From Kolding and the surrounding area, Taps, Vamdrup, Lunderskov, Egtved and Vejle… we would like to embrace a wide range, with the local in focus. We therefore also invite those of Kolding’s local shops that match the values to line up on the market. We have defined locally to be within a radius of 100 km, but occasionally there will be traders who come further away if the same goods can not be found closer.
THE VALUES OF THE MARKET ARE
GREEN – LOCAL – DELICIOUS – UNIQUE and due to Corona – SAFE We want to take care of the climate, the environment, the local and each other. And help create more life in the city centre. The basic value for Peat Saturdays is sustainability. Both in terms of environment, health and economy. We must leave as small an imprint as possible in everything we do, and it must pay to be involved.
